The most horrible company to work with. Horrible customer service, they took all the face to face offices. If i could give it stars I would, if u have the option to have a different utility company go with the other guys, even if it cost u more.

Their auto pay system is a scam designed to rack up late fees. After setting up auto pay, it deliberately does not debit your account. It doesnt really matter since they are a monopoly in most of their service area, but if you are one of the lucky few with a choice stay far, far away from this company.

Xcel Energy is a great utility to work with. Auto pay works great I do direct from a bank account and I never have any issues.

The worst. Monopolizing electricity leave the masses optionless.

Unlike their competitors Centerpoint and Dakota Electric. Xcel can send you your bill on a timely manor. They charge an application fee when signing up for service as if I had another choice in gas companies.
